In small group last night we talked about our current seasons and our desires for future seasons and how to mesh those two together well. One of our discussion questions was something along the lines of what is beautiful in our current season and what makes us come alive there.
I decided that in my current season I am choosing to embrace changes in my life instead of shying away from them like I used to do. This makes me come alive because it feels so much easier and life-giving and takes less energy to do this. It also makes me feel good to see my healthier approach and what I can see as growth and maturity in this area. It only took me 40 years to get here though!
